Our Meetings

Part of the success of BNI, in terms of generating business opportunities for its members, is the fact that wherever you go in the world, the same, proven agenda is followed.

A meeting consists of various elements, involving all the members, and as a visitor you will probably have an opportunity to tell the group what you do. You will also be offered the chance to pass your business cards around the room, so please bring plenty!

And, of course, there are times for you to network individually with the members of the chapter. We therefore advise you to arrive no later than 6.45am to give yourself as much time as possible to meet people.

We are a friendly group, and every stage of the meeting will be explained to you, so for those who are perhaps less comfortable in group surroundings, there is nothing to worry about. But don't take my word for it - come along and find out for yourself.

We ask that you contact one of the Leadership Team or a member of the group who can make sure you are on the guest list - this will also ensure the caterers have the numbers so that you get your choice of a full English breakfast or a fruit alternative.

The meeting officially ends around 8.30am so if you need to be somewhere at 9am you will have plenty of time. However, following the official part of the meeting you may well wish to stay to talk further with members and take full advantage of the networking opportunity.

Above all, come along with an open mind. All the existing member originally came as a visitor, and they found something that has increased their business substantially. You never know, may be you will too.
